It organizes debates, designs public campaigns, undertakes research and implements special communication projects. Its focus is on political, cultural, ethical and international issues. Policy discussion by HVO-Querido about its future youth policy. HVO-Querido provides support to homeless people and assists them in housing and restructuring their lives. We chaired the discussions (2008).

Personal profile:
Bert Freriks (1949) was born in the Netherlands, studied Social Sciences and Organisational Development, and became a political and labour movement analyst, a publicist and a creative communication specialist. He built his career in politics, the peace movement, the Anti-Apartheid movement and the Netherlands institute for Southern Africa (NiZA). In 2000 he established his private consultancy firm Alternative View together with Frank Hendriks. He speaks English, German, French and Dutch.
